These shows will take place outdoors or indoors, with no onlookers, in some of the city's most inspiring locations, including San Giusto Castle and Bastions, the Cathedral, the Museo Sartorio gardens, the terraces of the Museo Revoltella and the Salone degli Incanti, the Botanical Garden and Porto Vecchio.
The events will be video-recorded and presented on the Municipality of Trieste’s social channels.

The 21st ShorTS International Film Festival runs from 4 to 12 July, with a rich programme that includes some of the best short films from all over the world, various Italian and international feature films, a section entirely for children, and a special section created in collaboration with ESOF2020 Trieste, plus master classes, workshops, interviews with leading figures of international cinema, and much else besides.

Voices of Love is a two-way play of correspondences, for voice and piano. Love stories (lived, documented or legendary, mysterious, hidden or invented) and music flow together, sharing biographical, aesthetic, psychological and technical elements. Listeners are transported into the intimacy of the lives and works of great composers, in a crescendo of participation and identification with the resurrected passions.

The Trieste Summer Rock Festival is here again with two rocking concerts for loyal fans - and anyone else. Organised by Associazione Musica Libera, over the years the Festival has brought acts such as Steve Hacket, Pfm, Creedence Clearwater Revived, Ian Paice, Alan Parson and New Trolls to Trieste, plus many other sacred monsters of rock music.
Passover and Coloured Sweat, two progressive Trieste bands who have already worked abroad, will be performing this year.

The event that allows you to visit the splendid rooms of the nineteenth-century wing of the Museo Revoltella is back, with the Baron himself joining you as you discover the light and shade of his life. The text, in the form of a dialogue between Pasquale Revoltella and his friend Pietro, traces the extraordinary story of a man of humble origins who became one of the most eminent personalities of Habsburg Trieste.

This show recalls that and many other moments, before and after, in the career of one of the world's greatest philosophers of song writing.
